Caitlin Clark was widely rumored to be competing in the 2025 NBA All-Star 3-Point Competition before declining to focus on the WNBA season. These rumors are still relevant with the 2026 3-point competition upon us.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Clark light it up from top to bottom. She only played in 13 games and missed the entire playoffs for the Indiana Fever last year due to various lower body injuries. Still, Indiana managed to reach the semifinals, where they stole two games from A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.

Clark said she is 100% healthy now – music to the ears of a Fever team that could have won a title if they had been present in the last playoffs.
So, with Clark back in her physical prime, is she competing in the NBA’s 3-point contest? The answer is No.
New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu is the one and only WNBA star to face an NBA player in an NBA-run 3-point contest, narrowly losing to Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors in 2024. An inter-league 3-point contest has yet to take place, although it would certainly be welcome.
