Wolford reported offer from Iowa on Sunday evening. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound former All-MAC player finished the 2025 season as the FBS leader in yards per catch with 26.8 on 509 total yards on 19 receptions with seven touchdowns, to go along with 96 yards and a score on 12 rushing carries. The Jackson, Ohio native also returned five kicks for 53 yards in 2025.
Wolford will have three years of eligibility remaining wherever he commits out of the portal.
With Jacob Gill, Sam Phillips, Kaden Wetjen and Seth Anderson all exhausting their eligibility, Iowa is looking for new players internally and out of the portal to take on playmaking roles within its offense between now and 2026.

With snaps and selling opportunities, Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester and the Hawkeyes should be able to make a strong case.
Chris Hummer of 247Sports had previously reported that Wolford would visit Oklahoma State (January 5-6), UCF (January 7-8) and Cincinnati (January 10-11).
THE The Hawkeyes have already landed commitments safety Anthony Hawkins, defensive tackle Brice Stevenson and kicker Eli Ozick.
