Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is set to undergo medicals for a potential injury following yesterday’s Serie A clash with Bologna.
This according to the Italian channel Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Inter are already dealing with some notable midfield injuries.
For the moment, Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are on the sidelines. The former will have to wait a few weeks to return, while the latter should be back against Empoli on Sunday.
But now there appears to be another injury worry for Inter.
Davide Frattesi to undergo medical tests after Inter clash with Bologna
According to Sky, Inter midfielder Frattesi will undergo medical tests today.
This follows the 25-year-old’s appearance on the bench during yesterday’s Serie A draw against Bologna.
Frattesi did not start this match, despite the absence of Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan.
However, the former Sassuolo midfielder came on as a substitute in the second half.
And there appears to be a physical problem for Frattesi after this appearance, Sky reports.
Meanwhile, Frattesi is also at the center of transfer speculation. It is understood that the Italian international wants to leave Inter due to a lack of playing time.
Roma would be the team most keen to sign Frattesi.
