“I’m just happy,” Sims said while celebrating her victory.
“I finally did it. This means more to me than anything else right now.”

The 2026 title reflects the genius and dedication Sims has demonstrated throughout the competition and since its inauguration. She obliterated any possibility last week when she posted a career-high 44 points at AU. She became the first AU Pro player to surpass 30,000 career ranking points.

She is currently the tournament’s all-time leader in career leaderboard points, victory points, stat points and MVP points.
The Fever, who acquired Sims in a tough deal last August, made sure to celebrate their veteran guard’s accomplishment.
Sims became champion in an AU Pro season that implemented a slightly different format. The 2026 edition featured 41 players changing teams. The league also increased the challenge by requiring players to take on a different role each week.

The 33-year-old star declared her previous experiences made things easier so that it adapts.
“You have to do it,” she said.
“The most important thing is to be able to adapt to each situation. I understood because it’s my fifth year.”
