INDIANAPOLIS − Head coach Stephanie White continues to complete his team.
THE Indiana fever announced Wednesday that it has hired Keith Porter as player development coach. He held the same position on White’s Connecticut staff from 2023-2024, working specifically with first-team All-WNBA and 2023 MVP finalist Alyssa Thomas and 2024 Most Improved Player DiJonai Carrington.
During the WNBA offseason, Porter is the head coach of the Kosovo Heritage Basketball Academy in Europe, helping to develop more than 400 players. He played professionally in Puerto Rico and Spain, and was a college basketball player at Division III Connecticut-Avery Point.

Porter will reunite with Austin Kelly, who was also one of White’s assistant coaches at Connecticut. Karima Noël-Kellyassistant coach on the staff of former Fever coach Christie Sides in 2023-24 and wife of Kelly, was also hired as an assistant.
