The college football offseason is here and discussions about conference shakeup are already underway with seven ACC schools, including Clemson, Florida State and North Carolina, pushing their conferences for bigger payouts instead of opting out of their rights deals for the next 13 years. Unfortunately, conference shakeup has been the biggest offseason talking point in college football in recent years, but on today’s show, we discuss some things the sport could do to spur more offseason discussions throughout the year.

We begin Rapid Fire by discussing the former Irish fullback Logan Diggs transfer to LSU. Other topics covered:

* The Phoenix Suns have fired their head coach and Notre Dame alumnus Monty Williams two years after taking the Suns to the NBA Finals. Philadelphia also just fired Doc Rivers and the Bucks had already canned Mike BudenholzerDid any of these guys deserve to be fired?
* Thoughts on Joel EmbiidPhiladelphia’s post-game comments after Game 7 playoff loss to the Celtics.
