After losing to Villanova on Wednesday, the UConn men’s basketball team will look to get back in the win column in their next game against Georgetown on Saturday.
The 66-68 loss to Villanova on Wednesday ended an eight-game winning streak for the UConn men. The eight-game winning streak came after UConn lost three straight games at the Maui Invitational in November.
UConn was ranked ninth in the most recent AP men’s basketball pollwhich was released on Monday. The Huskies moved up two spots from the previous rankings released on December 30. Tennessee and Auburn are currently ranked first and second, respectively, in the AP poll.
