Each College Football Playoff rankings update will air on ESPN every Tuesday through Sunday, Dec. 8, Selection Day.
This Tuesday’s show airs on ESPN from 4 to 5 p.m.

How many teams will make the 2024 College Football Playoff?
For the first time in its 10-year history, the College Football Playoff will feature 12 teams, up from just four since its inception in 2014. The College Football Playoff announced in December 2022 that it would expand, and 2024 is the earliest season of this type. new format.
How does the College Football Playoff format work?
With 12 teams participating, the top four conference champions will earn an automatic bye into the first round of the new playoff format.
