Bronny James had a second straight solid performance in Summer League, helping the Lakers to their second straight win.
James scored 13 points in Thursday’s 93-89 win over the Cavaliers, topping his career high of 12 points He was effective from the start once again, scoring efficiently at all levels.
The 19-year-old point guard was also decisive in the fourth quarter. The Lakers took the lead with five minutes left thanks to his layup, and he made a three-pointer two minutes later to reduce the deficit.
The Lakers have earned their spot in the Summer League playoffs, so James will have at least one more outing to show what he’s capable of. Los Angeles plays the Bulls on Saturday, July 20.

James had a solid first half, totaling eight points, three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes.
He made a nice pump fake on a mid-range shot early in the first quarter and followed it up with an assist to Dalton Knecht.
