PAJU, South Korea (AP) — Australian Hannah Green shot a 7-under 71 Sunday to win the BMW Women’s Championship in South Korea, her sixth LPGA Tour victory and third this season.
Green finished at 19-under 269 for the tournament and led or shared the lead after all four rounds.
France’s Céline Boutier finished one shot behind Green on Sunday, with a 6-under 66. Chanettee Wannasaen of Thailand shot 68 and was two shots behind the winner.
Two golfers are tied for fourth and finished three shots behind: South Korean Hye-Jin Choi (67) and his compatriot Yu Jin Sung (72).
The tournament field was filled with eight of the LPGA’s top 10 players competing against each other. Chiefly absent was No. 1-ranked Nelly Korda, who withdrew before the event due to a neck injury.
The tournament also included 17 of the 18 winners from this season’s events.
