During an episode of “Off Court with Greg,” Rusedski said, “I’m always shocked. Any time a great champion wants to come back, it’s great for our sport, especially with what Serena has accomplished.

“She looks in great shape. The question is: how is the tennis game going and how is the movement going?
“You have to look at the WTA Tour right now, Mboko. She’s playing great tennis right now. Rybakina won the Australian Open and Sabalenka. They’re playing fierce tennis right now.
“So with the comeback, it will be interesting if she makes it to singles. She will only come back if she feels like she can beat them.
“It’s a question mark for me. I’m sure she’ll come back and at least play doubles, but I would love to see what happens in singles, and everyone is intrigued.
“So singles, it’s fascinating. The reality, I think, maybe twofold.”
