December 6, 11:30 a.m.

Malik Nabers will miss Friday’s practice with a hip flexor injury.

The star wide receiver underwent an MRI after being injured during Thursday’s practice, and the Giants are unsure whether he will be able to play this weekend against the New Orleans Saints.

December 5, 3:40 p.m.

Malik Nabers was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice due to a groin injury. The rookie wide receiver has suffered a groin issue at various points this season, so it’s entirely possible the Giants will limit his workload ahead of Sunday’s home game against the New Orleans Saints.

The Giants also improved their quarterback Tommy DeVito (right forearm) to a full participant on Thursday, after being limited on Wednesday. It will serve as a replacement for Drew Lockwho was announced as the starting quarterback by the head coach Brian Daboll earlier this week. ā€œI expect it to be long term, meaning the rest of the season,ā€ Daboll said. ā€œI’m not very optimistic about that.ā€

By placing Lawrence on IR, the Giants signed DL Cory Durden from the Rams practice squad.

Joining Lawrence on IR is TE Theo Johnsonwho injured his foot against the Cowboys.

November 28, 8:41 p.m.

Dexter Laurent left the Giants’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys in the third quarter due to what New York called an elbow issue.

November 1, 3:31 p.m.

Run back Tyrone Tracy Jr.who returned to practice Thursday, was exempt from the concussion protocol and will be active for Week 9 against the Washington Commanders.

Tracy left Monday night’s loss to the Steelers after hitting his head on the turf.

While the Giants got Tracy back, they lost another kicker.

Greg Joseph has an oblique injury and will be out Sunday. In place of Joseph, former Rutgers kicker Jude McAtamney will be added to the active practice squad roster ahead of what will be his NFL debut.

Bettor Jamie Gillan (hamstring) was also ruled out on Friday.

In the meantime, Dexter Laurent won’t practice either, but the Giants are just giving him the day off.

September 26, 7:00 p.m.

The Giants have officially signed a wide receiver Darius Slayton also active for Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Slayton was added to the injury report with a questionable tag late in the week due to a thumb issue, but after going through pregame warmups, it appears he is good to go.

Big Blue’s inactives for the week include: Loved Jackson, Dru Phillips, Anthony Johnson, Benton Whitley, Boogie Basham, Jake KubasAnd Tommy DeVito.

September 25, 2:05 p.m.

Austin Ekeler from the kick-off and arrived limping. To make matters worse, Gano’s efforts were ultimately in vain, as the potential 98-yard touchdown was negated due to a holding penalty.

With Gano uncertain, that will likely mean the punter Jamie Gillan will also have to handle kicking duties.

September 12, 1:56 p.m.

Giants wide receiver Darius Slaytonwho followed a concussion protocol, is making progress.

Slayton wore a red non-contact jersey during Thursday’s practice.
