Georgia Bulldogs notable offensive lineman Tate Ratledge plans to play in the 2025 Senior Bowl. Ratledge is the first Georgia player to accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl.
Ratledge, a native of Rome, Georgia, began his career at Georgia in 2020. He is technically able to return for a sixth season at UGA, but based on his acceptance of an invitation to the Senior Bowl, he will participate in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Ratledge gave Georgia’s offensive line a huge boost in his return to the lineup after his injury. Ratledge has been rated as the highest eligible guard by many NFL experts and is expected to be a top pick in the draft. The senior center was named a third-team All-American in 2024 and finished the year as an All-SEC selection.
Tate Ratledge helped bring stability to the offensive line late in the season after injuring his ankle against Kentucky. Ratledge has played with Stetson Bennett, Carson Beck and will now block for Gunner Stockton.
Ratledge has been a starter on Georgia’s offensive line the past four seasons. He only missed the College Football Playoff once.
