We have the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks, Game 6 Results according to NBA 2K24 to see who the game chooses to win this match. The Mavericks took the series lead in Game 5 after beating the Thunder 104-92. The Thunder must win Game 6 if they want to contend for a chance at reaching the conference finals. So who won this one in 2K24? Let’s find out in this 2K24 simulation.

Thunder vs. Mavericks Conference Semifinals Game 6 results according to NBA 2K24

According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, The Oklahoma City Thunder will come back and beat the Mavericks in Game 6 by a score of 130-125. With this victory, the series now extends to seven games as Dallas collapses after the first quarter. This high-scoring contest saw OKC dominate from the second to fourth quarters as they stormed back to winning ways. Dallas played well, but an offensive lull in the middle of the game greatly affected the outcome of this game.

TEAM Quarter 1 Quarter 2 Quarter 3 Quarter 4 FINAL
OKAY 25 34 31 40 130
DAL 37 27 25 36 125

The Oklahoma City Thunder came back from a 17-point deficit in this game. They completed 62% of Field Goals as a team and converted 10 points off five turnovers. The Mavericks played well offensively, but only recorded six points off five turnovers and missed numerous opportunities. Overall, it was a disappointing game for the Mavericks, who were so close to ending this series.

In terms of player performance, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 41 points. Additionally, he recorded 14 assists in the contest as part of the Thunder’s potent offensive effort. Chet Holmgren also put up excellent numbers, scoring 27 points while adding 14 rebounds to his stat sheet. Jaylen Williams also recorded three interceptions, which proved crucial to Oklahoma City’s comeback efforts. Overall, it was a team effort to win this match.

On the Mavericks side, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic absolutely dominated. Irving scored 53 points, but turned the ball over three times in the game. Doncic scored 41 points while adding 8 assists to the board. However, no one else on the Dallas Mavericks really did much to help earn this victory. PJ Washington and Derek Lively II both recorded 7 assists each, but other than that it was an easy Dallas game.

Additionally, check out some game stats:

Thunder STATUS Nonconformists
50/80 (62%) Field objectives 49/89 (55%)
8/16 (50%) Three pointers 16/41 (39%)
22/25 (88%) Free Spins 11/11
6 Offensive rebounds 7
33 Defensive rebounds 27
4 Stolen 3
0 Blocks 4
5 (10) Turnover (points excluding) 5 (6)
7 Team fouls 14
5 The biggest advance 17
24h24 Moment of possession 11:35 p.m.

With this victory, the Oklahoma City Thunder evens the series and returns home for Game 7. With the series tied, their winner takes all for Game 7 in OKC. The Thunder have home-court advantage and an opportunity to advance to the conference finals. It won’t be easy, but now they just need to focus on one more game if they want to advance.

As for the Mavericks, their season does not end there. However, they now have to travel to OKC in order to face the Thunder for Game 7. While Luka and Kyrie are experienced enough to take the pressure off, the rest of the team will need to step up. We’ll see if they can work things out when the two teams face off in game seven.

In terms of accuracy, we think the scorecard is quite high, but not as high as previous simulations. For some reason, both teams seem to score way more points than every other team in our simulations. Both teams have highly rated players. However, we don’t know if teams are losing 120-130 points per playoff game. Regardless, we’re happy to see that it was a close match.

The only area we are looking to improve in is player injuries. We pre-record these simulations, which means we cannot take Game-Time Decision (GTD) into account. Additionally, we are limited to 2K lists, which receive daily updates. However, creating custom lists led to game crashes, as well as other technical issues. We will look to resolve these issues when the conference finals roll around.

Overall, this concludes our Thunder vs. Mavericks, Game 6 Results according to NBA 2K24. If you want more NBA 2K content, try using the latest locker codes. In addition, discover all the new features with Season 7 before its release this Friday. Additionally, check out the MyTEAM brain event, which added a 100 OVR Tim Duncan Player Item To the game. Finally, always stay tuned new episodes of 2KTV.

See you either for Game 7 or for the conference final!
