These instructions are a little dated, but they still contain the correct way to post images and gifs, with the exception of the sizing instructions, which are below. I hope to update and post these instructions in the very near future.

How to size images and gifs correctly:
Follow the normal method for posting images and gifs.
In the message box, something similar to this will appear:
(img src=”http://i.imgur.com/F44…….etc…..etc…etc)
Once the image descriptor above appears in the message box, perform the following steps:
Between img And src insert (width=”300″) and it will resize it automatically.
Leave a space before and after (width=”300″) and leave everything else as is.
This is what the image descriptor should look like after following the steps above and before posting your image or gif;
(img width=”300″ src=”http://i.imgur.com/F………- etc etc etc)
If the original image is wider than tall, use (width=”300″)
If the original image is taller rather than wider, use (height=”300″)
300 is generally the largest image size you should post here, although 400 is acceptable if extenuating circumstances require it.
