Currently, USC only holds two commitments in its 2027 recruiting class. Could a third arrive soon?
On Sunday, USC salvaged a projection from Rivals to land local four-star wide receiver Quentin Hale. Rivals rank Hale as the No. 51 overall player and No. 7 wide receiver in the 2027 class.

“Hale is a native of Corona, Calif., and is one of the top wide receivers in the country, with programs across the country fighting to secure his commitment,” JD McCarthy of College Sports Wire wrote. “Despite strong competition, two experts believe that Trojan horses has done enough to become a leader in its recruitment.
“Rivals’ Adam Gorney and Greg Biggins both have predictions on record for him to commit to USC. Those are the only two predictions on where he’ll go, giving them a 96.4 percent chance of landing him, according to Rivals’ recruiting prediction machine.”
Hale is expected to announce his commitment Friday. He will choose between Trojan horsesLSU, Texas and Oklahoma.
