LSU women’s basketball team faces internal turmoil involving star player Angel Reese and head coach Kim Mulkey.
THE 2023 NCAA Championship Winner was notably put on the bench in the second half against Kent State, Tuesday November 14. She was also absent from the team’s recent win over Southeast Louisiana. Meanwhile, Mulkey’s vague remarks shed no light on the situation.

Reese‘s former teammate, Alexis Morris, took to Twitter to seemingly address the situation. “I never wanted to disagree or care about likes, media, none of that,” Morris said. “I just wanted to hoop. I come from a different generation of gamers; we didn’t have all that when I was in HSNIL, (which) is a plus! In my eyes, media coverage is a plus.”
Morris also refrained from criticizing Mulkey. She wrote: “You can’t pay me to bash Kim! » Jasmin Carson, another former teammate, suggested he had insider information but chose to stay silent for now, posting: “You better hope I don’t say anything…”

The drama also extended to Instagram, where Reese’s mother, Angel Reese Webb, and Flau’jae Johson’s mother, Kia Brooks, exchanged words. The first said: “My friends, (please) do not send me long texts (messages) with a bunch of grammatical errors. It gives me a headache.
In response, Brooks reportedly targeted Reeseacademic performance of. She said: “You are definitely aware of the grammar errors when your daughter has a GPA of 2.0 or less…Stop being petty, fake and hateful, and take responsibility for your actions and those of your daughter.
