Retired NBA player and former Harvard-Westlake star Jason Collins is under treatment for a brain tumor, the NBA announced on Thursday in a statement published on behalf of Collins and his family.
“Jason and his family welcome your support and your prayers and ask for a privacy as they devote their attention to the health and well-being of Jason,” said the League.

Originally from 46 years of Northridge, Jason Collins and his twin brother, Jarron, led Harvard-Westlake to the titles of Division III of State in 1996 and 1997, the first being appointed The player of the year of state division III both seasons.
