Ancient Alabama Defensive lineman Hunter Osborne is reportedly re-entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to Hayes Fawcett from On3.
Osborne spent the 2025 season at Virginia, recording 15 tackles, two TFLs and a sack. Osborne will now have two years of eligibility remaining.

Osborne was a four-star recruit for Alabama. He had dozens of offers in D1. Osborne redshirted at Alabama in 2023 and appeared in four games in 2024 in which he recorded three total tackles. Osborne recorded a game-high four tackles against Stanford last season.
Osborne is a 6’4, 305 lb defensive lineman from Trussville, Alabama. He was an edge rusher with good discipline and distance who was converted to a defensive tackle. The Division I transfer portal opens today and closes January 16. Osborne is a physically gifted defensive lineman who will likely be signed during this period.
