Yahoo Sports’ Fantasy Football Live team looks ahead to Monday’s matchup between Detroit and San Francisco – and the impact Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown and George Kittle could have on fantasy managers.

Yeah, we’re going to bring the whole team here.
Um, we’re going to cover some fantastic game changers for this week, powered by ram trucks, where we identify some of the most influential players in one of the best fantasy matchups on the calendar.
The fantasy championship could very well come down to the drama known as Monday Night Football Detroit.
Visit Levi Stadium to face the Niners.
Detroit is still playing for the top seed in the NFC.
It will be 52 degrees.
Lions favored by 3.5.
The above is less than 50.5 on this one.
When I tell you it’s a fantastic game changer, Matt Harman, you say.
Oh man, I say Jamir Gibbs, Lions running back.
A few weeks ago, after Dave Montgomery dropped in Yahoo’s fantasy predictions, Dalton Del Donne said that no, he wouldn’t take a step back from Jamir Gibbs for the rest of the fantasy season.
I’ve never needed Dalton to be so right about one statement and to be right about this one.
And after a week, everything is going pretty well for this call.
Um, Jamir Gibbs led all running backs last week in expected fantasy points through the first three quarters of this game because obviously, uh, they didn’t need to do much to beat the Andy Bears.
He played 73.6% of snaps.
He had 84% of the team’s carries and a target share of almost 15%.
It wasn’t like, OK, Dave Montgomery is out, let’s add another running back.
No, for Get, they built everything from Jamir Gibbs, and I think Gibbs has played so much this year that he absolutely deserves this type of treatment.
The Niners’ run defense is pretty hit-and-miss.
They especially struggle to defend some of those perimeter runs that Gibbs has been excellent on.
He got some goal line rushers last week.
He definitely checks the RB1 box this week.
Um, I say it, I need it to be true.
Let’s go, Jamir Gibbs.
This, this section is now manifesting with Matt Harmon.
All right.
Tara Roberts, give us, uh, your fantasy game changer.
I am not demonstrating here.
I just want to give a little appreciation to Monroe Saint Brown.
He’s the 4th most average fantasy points per game for a receiver, and yet I feel like he’s somewhat overlooked.
He is often seen as having that limited upside due to the nature of his role in the game and arguably, as Matt just said, one of the most stacked offenses in the NFL to date, has several overall finishes at wide receiver, has over 100 receptions on far fewer targets than other top receivers like Jamar Chason have double-digit touchdowns.
He has tweaked his game to be able to post solid numbers even if he doesn’t reach the massive goals he was getting in 2023.
Aman Ras St. Brown is a game changer for me here.
Alright, Andy Bears, let’s remind the world that there are 2 teams involved in this game.
This can be a fantastic game changer, perhaps on the other side.
Yeah, I ran through a non-Iowa tight end at the top of the show, so I need to redress the balance now.
Let’s talk about George Kittle.
He got it, thank you very much.
He is having one of the best seasons of his career.
A lot of things have gone wrong for the Niners this season, obviously, but he’s not one of them.
Kittle is actually in a dogfight with Brock Bauers to finish as the tight end won the season overall.
One of them obviously does it with volume, the other with touchdowns, big playability.
They have both been very consistent.
Kendle actually has the highest catch rate of his career, the most yards per target, the second-highest touchdown total, and he might still reach, you know, the best touchdown total of his career .
He is on pace to have 70 catches and 1,000 yards for the season.
He most likely will this week.
The Lions actually took credit for it.
They’ve allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season, but it’s also a compromise defense at this point.
And they haven’t really faced tight ends this year.
Kittel is by far the best they will have seen.
He’s only had 3 games this year in which he didn’t reach double-digit fantasy points, so I think you can expect another Monday night.
