
The Eurobasket 2025 champion will be determined on Sunday while Germany and Türkiye are fighting for the crown. The tournament has presented many Talents from the NBA and notable stars will pass on to the final while Franz Wagner of Magic (Germany) will face Alperen Sengun of the Rockets (Türkiye).
The largest tournament stars, however, were eliminated earlier in the direct elimination phase. Nikola Jokić and Serbia, who were the favorites of the Pre-Tournoi, were turned upside down by Lauri Markkanen and Finland in the round of 16. Luka Dončić led Slovenia to the quarter -finals, but Germany used a fourth solid quarter to move forward and send the packaging of the star Lakers. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece lost Türkiye on Friday in the semi-finals.
The direct elimination stage takes place in Riga, in Latvia.

Format
The tournament started with a group phase, with four groups made up of six teams each. The group phase, which ended on September 4, was a round style game, in which each team played once in their respective group. The four best teams in each group qualified in the direct elimination phase.
