The chiefs were not able to three peat, but one of their former players was.
The offensive line of the Eagles Darian Kinnard won his third consecutive ring of the Super Bowl.
Kinnard did not play in none of the three Super Bowls because he was inactive for two, including the match on Sunday, and in the training team for the other. But he has always participated in the celebrations and won the rings.
The chiefs made Kinnard a choice of fifth round in 2022. He played in a match as a recruit, then spent 2023 in the chiefing team, not seeing any action.
He signed a term contract with the Eagles last January and played two games with a departure – the victory of the week 18 against the Giants – this season. The Eagles made Kinnard inactive for 14 regular season games and the four games in playoffs.
The former professional of the Pro Bowl, Ken Norton Jr., also won three consecutive super bowls, winning with the cowboys in 1992 and 1993, then going to the 49ers, where he won a third consecutive. Kinnard, however, won his three games in a row in his first three seasons. Norton’s career began in 1988.
Kinnard told Paul Schwartz to The New York Post that he keeps his rings of the Super Bowl in a safe.
“I guess I can say I’m a little spoiled Regarding this, “Kinnard told Schwartz.
