Radu Dragusin’s agent, Florin Manea, confirms that Roma is his client’s preferred destination, but he is still “waiting” for the green light from Tottenham.

“I’m waiting for Tottenham to say yes to Roma so that things can really move forward,” the defender’s agent told Rai Sport via Calciomercato.com.

“There are a few offers for him, but Italy is a special place for Radu, and he has done well in Serie A. He is a gladiator and gladiators belong to Rome.”

Fiorentina are also linked with the Romanian international.
Italian sources have reported that Tottenham’s asking price for Dragusin is 15 million eurosbut the defender’s agent has revealed that Spurs’ demands are higher, while a move to Fiorentina is not in his plans.

“With all due respect, that would not be the right path for him. He costs 25 million euros,” Manea concluded.
Dragusin recently returned to action following a serious knee injury.
The 23-year-old, a former Juventus and Genoa centre-back, has already made 40 Serie A appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
During his time at Tottenham, he made 26 Premier League appearances, including seven in the Europa League and one in the FA Cup.
Roma are pushing for reinforcements in attack also during the January transfer window and are close to signing Atletico Madrid striker Giacomo Raspadori.
