During his more than 90-minute speech, Trump touched on a number of political issues, including a hot-button topic for many Americans.

The issue of banning transgender athletes from participating in women’s and girls’ sports has been one of the most hotly debated topics in American politics over the years.

In April, the Biden administration made Major changes to Title IX in the unveiling of new rules aimed at protecting LGBTQ+ students and changing how complaints of sexual harassment and assault are handled on campus.
But what’s remarkable about these changes is the absence of any policy that would prevent schools from outright banning transgender athletes from competing against women.
Currently, at least 24 states have laws that prohibit transgender women and girls from participating in certain women’s or girls’ sports competitions.

Nassau County, New York, Executive Director Bruce Blakeman was the latest to sign a county law that would ban biological males from participating in women’s sporting events at county-run parks and facilities — a law that immediately became the subject of a lawsuit from New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Ancient NCAA Division 1 swimmer Riley Gaines He spoke to Fox News Digital outside the RNC this week to condemn Democrats’ moves to protect women’s sports.
“The Democratic Party is far from being a party of women or for women. They can’t even define what a woman is,” she said. “So how can you claim to stand for something you can’t define? I’m here to share the simple message that men and women are different, but it’s much broader than just the athletic aspect.”

According to the Associated Press, Trump has pledged to ban transgender athletes from women’s sports, adding that if elected, he would ask Congress to pass a bill establishing that there are “only two sexes” determined by birth.
