During the 2020s Vanessa Hudgens-hosted (and much better than expected) MTV Movie & TV Awards: the best of all time, the Zero to Hero award was given to William Zabka for his return to the role of pop culture icon Johnny Lawrence in the sequel series “Karate Kid” Cobra Kai. Perfectly channeling his inner Johnny, Zabka joked about being called a “goat” instead of a GOAT (greatest of all time) and lashed out at MTV for not getting enough . More seriously, Zabka also thanked Ralph Macchio, And Martin Kové, the cast and creative team behind the original film and streaming series, and the fans for all their hard work, dedication and commitment to creating a quality series. But with Aoki and Barker both huge fans of the show, we couldn’t end the night without hearing their version of “You’re the Best Around” – and it fucking rocks:
