Oscar Fraulo is reportedly set to join Championship side Derby County. According to the Algemeen DagbladFraulo’s parent club, Borussia Mönchengladbach, are preparing to recall him from his loan in order to send him to Pride Park. The 21-year-old has struggled to gain playing time at Utrechtwho also have the option to buy the Danish junior international.
Oscar Fraulo began his career with Danish club Midtjylland, where he rose through the ranks before joining Borussia Mönchengladbach permanently in 2022. The central midfielder initially joined FC Utrecht on loan during the 2023 campaign /24, with 32 appearances in the Eredivisie. . However, this season under Ron Jans, Zidane Iqbal and Paxten Aaronson have been given more opportunities.
Gladbach are ready to recall Fraulo from his loan, with no hesitation due to lack of playing time. A move to Derby County seems the most likely option. The club currently sits 20th in the table under head coach Paul Warne.
