The NBA announced the participants in the 3-point competition, which will take place during the star weekend next week. The competition will take place on Saturday, February 15, as one of the three skills events that day.
The field is highlighted by the double reigning champion Damian Lillard, which will aim at a three peat. Lillard has a chance to join Larry Bird and Craig Hodges as only players to win the competition three consecutive times.

Lillard is the most experienced in the 3 -point field and will join the fifth time competition in his career.
Hield, the 3 -point champion in 2020, will take up the challenge for the third time in his career, while Herro and Brunson will participate for the second time. Cunningham, Garland, Johnson and Powell are all participants for the first time.
