After nine days of intense action on the field, the third edition of the Gulshan Club Olympiad concluded on Saturday. An awards ceremony and cultural program took place on the last day of the competition. Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) General Secretary Syed Shahed Reza was present as the chief guest at the post-tournament presentation ceremony held at the Gulshan Club tennis court.

Besides them, Gulshan Club President Rafiqul Alam Helal and Olympic Organizing Committee Chairman Dr Wahiduzzaman Tomal were among the guest list.
Singers Ankhi Alamgir, Shuvro Deb and Dithi Anwar participated in the cultural program.
18 local and foreign clubs based in Bangladesh participated in the event. The Cadet College Club was judged the best performer after winning seven medals (six gold and one silver). Gulshan Club won the most number of medals (four gold and seven silver). Gulshan Youth Club bagged four gold and three silver medals.
The Chittagong Club won two gold medals and as many silvers. The American Club won three medals (two gold and one silver). The Dhaka Club and the Sylhet Club received two medals each, as did the Gregorian Club and the Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club. Banani Club won one gold medal, Uttara Club two silvers, German Club one silver, Club Shaheen Ltd one silver and Narayanganj Club won one silver medal.

A total of 18 clubs participated in the Olympiad this time. The clubs were American Club, All Community Club Limited, Banani Club, Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club, Cadet College Club, Chittagong Club, Club Shaheen Limited, Dhaka Boat Club, Dhaka Club, German Club Dhaka, Gulshan Club, Gulshan Youth Club, Gregorian Alumni Club. Limit. , International Recreation Club, Khulna Club Limited, Narayanganj Club, Sylhet Club and Uttara Club.
A total of 18 events were organized in 13 sports – wrestling, badminton, women’s basketball, chess, cricket, football, golf, billiards, snooker, squash, table tennis, tennis – this time at the Olympiad. A quiz competition was organized for the first time. A girls’ exhibition match called “Power of She” was held.
Cricket, football, basketball and badminton were held at the Gulshan Youth Club ground. Golf took place at Kurmitola Golf Club. All remaining matches took place at Gulshan Club.
