Corey LaJoie will be a very busy man in the coming weeks. He has already announced plans to replace the injured Brad Keselowski in the Preseason Clash at Bowman Gray, and he will also pilot RFK Racing’s No. 99 open car as it attempts to qualify for the 68th running of the Daytona 500.

On Monday, it was announced that LaJoie would also drive the No. 75 Henderson Motorsports car in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season opener at Daytona. This truck actually “won” this race last year with Parker Kligerman, but was later disqualified for failing post-race inspection.

LaJoie, 34, has 276 Cup Series starts, but also has some recent Truck Series experience. Nine of his 14 career NCTS starts came during the 2025 season with Spire Motorsports. He recorded three top fives and seven top tens in those nine appearances, finishing as high as fifth.

The Daytona Truck race will feature several interesting names beyond the Truck regulars. It was previously announced that Tony Stewart would make his first NCTS start in nearly twenty years by joining the Kaulig Racing Ram fleet. 2023 Daytona 500 winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will drive for Niece Motorsports, and one of his teammates will be extreme sports legend Travis Pastrana.
