Well, Buff fans, the NCAA seems to have an epic scene on April 19 for Colorado Annual Spring Spring Match.

Friday afternoon, Chris Vannini of Athletic reported that the NCAA and FBS surveillance committee had denied The demand for Colorado and Syracuse To hold spring training leading to an exhibition game in Folsom Field.

According to the NCAA declaration, the most important factor in the denial of the waiver was that the request was too close to the date to approve such a radical measure. This is a fair reason, but it is a disappointment of knowing that Fran Brown at Syracuse and Deion Sanders Colorado The team was completely on board.

Another reason was that the NCAA did not want the two programs to have a competitive and recruitment advantage on other schools that did not organize such an event.

This reason contradicts everything that is happening in the current era of university football. The grandes écoles can spend more money to “buy” the best players, while schools with smaller chests are left in the dust. If the NCAA will not regulate the transfer portal and zero, it should not interfere with individual programs by trying to create positive changes in sport. No one prevents other university football programs from trying to plan a spring game.

The last reason why the NCAA gave was that “students-athletes are missing the time of the class to participate in the practice”. At this time of year, students-athletes are already missing class for training, so adding another team to the mixture would not change much.

There is hope for university football fans that NCAA has agreed to continue to discuss the joint spring game possibilities, so they seem partially open to the idea. But for the moment, the NCAA has been a little buzzing for an idea with a ton of support and momentum.
