College GameDay Unveils Horrible New Theme Song: AUDIO – OutKick

The new College GameDay theme song is out and it is absolutely disgusting.

ESPN divide Since Big and rich shortly before the start of the season, like the music of the popular college football production.

The duo’s hit “Comin’ to Your City” was the anthem of College Game Day and millions of fans for 16 years. You couldn’t hear the song without thinking of a Saturday morning on the couch taking in as much college football action as possible.

Well, after the dumping Big and rich without explanation, ESPN hired Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson and The Cadillac Three to sing their own version of “Comin’ to Your City.”

The song is officially out and it makes me want to vomit. Listen to it below.

College GameDay reveals new theme song “Comin’ to Your City.”

Puke. Absolutely disgusting. Who made this decision and why did our joy have to be spoiled? Why was this necessary?

This is incredibly bad. This version of “Comin’ to Your City” makes me want to burn my headphones and computer to play it.

Let me be very clear. I like Darius Rucker, Lainey Wilson and The Cadillac Three. It has nothing to do with any of them. Their music is solid, but this song is absolute garbage.

It is indefensible that Big & Rich were dumped and replaced with this. This song sounds like something written by artificial intelligence. This is just terribly bad, and chances are that most academics Match day fans agree with me.

There is quite literally a part of the song where Lainey Wilson just reads the names of the states. Seriously, what is this ESPN?

No matter what College GameDay does in the future, we all know that Big & Rich are the real people behind “Comin’ to Your City.” Cutting the ties and replacing them with this nonsense will not change that fact.
