Nov. 10 — ALAMOSA, Colo. — The UTPB men’s basketball team suffered a 95-88 loss to Adams State on Sunday in the South Central Region Challenge.
The Falcons (1-1) trailed just 34-31 at halftime and the two teams continued to stay close in the second half.
UTPB was led in scoring by Dario Domingos’ 17 points while Alex Matthews had 15 and Bryceson Burns had 14.
Adams State (2-0) was led by Jude Tapia who had 28 points while Ta’Veus Randle had 17 and Jaylen Alexander had 13.
UTPB will next face UTEP in an exhibition game Tuesday at 8 p.m. in El Paso.
