Could Michigan State basketball reach the 2025 Final Four this year? One college basketball analyst thinks so.
College Basketball Report’s “Trell” listed Michigan State among his teams he believes will reach the Final Four in 2025. He was one of six College Basketball Report analysts to release their preseason picks for the Final Four, and was the only one to have the Spartans included.
Michigan State enters the upcoming season outside the top 25 in the preseason rankings and was picked to finish No. 5 in the Big Ten in the preseason poll. From what I’ve seen, the Spartans are not a common choice to contend for a national championship and reach the Final Four.
Michigan State officially tips off the 2024-25 season Monday in a non-conference home game against Monmouth. Tip-off from the Breslin Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and the game will be available to stream on Big Ten Plus.
