During his last high school golf event, Riley Fletcher closed with four solid holes on Saturday.
The Seabreeze senior shot 15, 16, 17 and 18 in her second round at the Class 2A state championship tournament at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-In-The-Hills. Overall, she tied three other golfers for 10th with a score of 152 over par.
Fletcher was consistent throughout both days of the tournament. For her first round of 18 holes on Friday, she shot an over-par 76. She entered the second day just two strokes from the lead.
In her second round, she played 76 again.
This was Fletcher’s first appearance at a state tournament since her sophomore year when she placed 12th. She was Volusia-Flagler’s only representative Friday and Saturday.
She made three birdies and 22 pars over the 36 holes.

Jack Rossheim competes in the Class 1A boys tournament
Jack Rossheim represented the Volusia-Flagler area as the sole participant in the Class 1A state tournament Tuesday and Wednesday.
In his first appearance at the FHSAA Championships, the Father Lopez sophomore finished tied for 59th out of a field of 95 golfers. He finished with an over-par 158, putting him on par with four others.
In his first round of 18 holes at Mission Resort + Club, Rossheim posted an 82. On the second day, he improved his score to 4-over par 76. He made two birdies and two eagles (on par -4 n°8). and par-5 n°14).
