Whatever your situation in life, you are going to go through difficult times. It can have a major impact on your life, like a death in the family or getting fired, or it can be something as trivial as feeling bad during your evening workout or burning your toast on Morning. Whatever it is, we have to get through it.

And for that, you need a mantra – an easy-to-remember phrase that you can rely on to give you the confidence and strength to endure and overcome whatever life throws at you.

Monday evening, ESPN revealed some photos from Christian Yelich’s photoshoot for Body Issue:

As of Tuesday morning, the obviously revealing photos have already sparked backlash. Never mind the fact that they reveal that’s the whole point of the issue in the first place, so it would seem odd to get upset. But whatever.

Regardless, Yelich decided to respond to the haters, and in doing so, offered us all a mantra:

Yelich also changed his ambient music for Tuesday night’s game against the Cardinals to “Roxanne” by Sting and The Police.

May we all move forward in life – or at least aspire to move forward in life – with “Relax Roxane” energy. Not only will it be much easier to get through difficult times, but the world will become a better place.

Eric Chesterton is a writer for MLB.com. He enjoys the stolen base, the bunt against the changeup and almost any unconventional uniform design. He’s looking forward to the inevitable return of Jamie Moyer.
