Chicago Sky will welcome Caitlin Clark and Indiana Fever at the United Center for 2 historic games this summer

Chicago – Women’s basketball is – finally – who comes to the United Center.

Chicago’s sky will host Indiana fever at The Bulls and Blackhawks Arena for two games this summer. The first will take place on June 7 at 7 p.m., and the second is July 26 at 2 p.m.

It is a historical development for the sky and the bulls. The United Center has never organized a WNBA match in the first 19 seasons of the Sky. And the games will offer a larger platform for one of the most anticipated matches in the League: the Angel of the Sky Reese and Kamilla Cardoso against Caitlin Clark.

The United Center has a capacity of 20,917 for basketball matches, almost double that of the home of the sky to Wantrust Arena (10,387). Friday’s announcement positions to beat their attendance record of 16,444, taking place in 2016 in Allstate Arena in Rosemont.

“Given the explosive growth of the WNBA, we now have a very first opportunity to invite more fans to discover this match in a larger place in the United Center,” said CEO and Sky president Adam Fox, in a statement. “Chicago Sky fans have always appeared for the team and the city, and we want to reward their passion and their dedication by bringing this excitement to an extended capacity.”

The Sky said that seasonal subscription holders will receive “seats in kind at the United Center depending on the views, rows and other factors”. However, seasonal ticket holders had not yet received official notice from the change of their ticket representatives on Friday afternoon.

Last year’s matches against fever in Wentrust were almost immediate sales – and the secondary market exploded accordingly, the tickets up on an average of $ 385 the week preceding the second meeting of the teams in Chicago in August.

The fever took the 3-1 season series last year, winning its two home games and the second game in Chicago. The teams will compete five times in 2025, including the opening of the Sky season on May 17 in Indianapolis.

Tickets for the two United Center games will be on sale at 11 a.m. on March 11 on Ticketmaster and in boxes of box boxes.
