Chicago’s sky brings some adjustments to their WNBA 2025 calendar for a larger crowd.

According to a statement, the new look has moved two of his home games against the fever of the Indiana of Wentrust Arena to the United Center.

It will be the first time in the history of the franchise that the sky will play at the United Center.

“Given the explosive growth of the WNBA, we now have a very first opportunity to invite more fans to discover this match in a larger place in the United Center,” said Sky Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Adam Fox. “Chicago Sky fans have always presented themselves for the team and the city, and we want to reward their passion and dedication by bringing this excitement to an enlarged capacity. We know that Skytown will help us to create a special environment at the United Center this summer. We want to thank the United Center and MPEA for their partnership.”

The change of place is logical, given the anticipation of the 2024 games between the sky and the fever. The two competitions on June 23 and August 30 had closed counters. The match of June 30 had tickets for the match for $ 351 on average, said Associated Press according to Vivid Seats.

The change of place is delivered with two stipulations.

This means that the Sky-fever match originally for Saturday July 26 will be moved to Sunday July 27. Tipoff for this match will be scheduled for 2 p.m. CT. The match of Saturday June 7 will remain on its initial date and its ending hour at 7 p.m. CT.

“We are incredibly delighted to welcome the Sky and Indiana Fever of Chicago, two championship franchises, at the United Center this summer for his very first WNBA games,” said Joe Myhra, Executive Vice-President of the United Center, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operation. “It is an honor to present these elite athletes and to highlight the impact of female sports in an arena rich in emblematic basketball moments.”
