There is the old joke that tennis is the least romantic sport because love means nothing, but someone must tell the young Hollywood.
An observation of celebrities at the BNP Paribas Open is not uncommon, but for the second consecutive year, a young couple has considerably increased the power of the stars of celebrities observations and reduces age.
During the action of Sunday afternoon, actor Timothee Chalamet and Beau Kylie Jenner were spotted in a suite, canoeing and looking at tennis. Jenner’s sister, Kendall, was also in the box because the Jenner-Kardashian family has a house in the region. This occurs two months after Chalamet was in town for the Palm Springs International Film Festival, receiving a prize at the Gala Red Carpet with Jenner behind the scenes.
And all this occurs a year after the young couple actor Zendaya and Tom Holland were spotted in the Indian wells, relaxing in a suite and looking at tennis and even taking the time to dedicate hats and tennis balls that were launched. Zendaya, who linked to the Iga Swiatek champion for some advice later in the day, was there to promote her film “Challengers” based in tennis which was a great success in 2024.
Timothee Chalamet, on the left, and Kylie Jenner watch a male round match between the 12th seeded Holger and the 18th head of Ugo Humbert at the Stadium 1 at the BNP Open BNP in Indian Wells, in California, Sunday, March 9, 2025. At the bottom right, Jenner’s sister is Kendall Jenner.
You can count on reliable celebrities at the BNP Paribas Open every year like Ben Stiller, Charlize Theron Will Ferrell, Mike Tyson and Bill Gates, but in the past two years have shown that even all 20 years is settled on tennis. Maybe sport has a rebirth of freshness.
Zendaya and Tom in 2024. Timothee and Kylie in 2025. I suppose that the tennis ball is in your court for 2026 Taylor and Travis. We will see you in tennis paradise.
