The No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft put San Jose in control with a miraculous goal, firing a shot from the left side past Kings goaltender David Rittich that gave the Sharks a 3-2 lead in the third period.
Celebrini then followed up with another goal from the right side, slotting a one-timer past Rittich to give San Jose a commanding 5-2 advantage.
After trailing 2-1 late in the second period, the Sharks scored six unanswered goals, giving fans a glimpse of the NHL potential that lies ahead if San Jose’s stock of young talent can reach its immense potential. .
