Al Mazrowiah, Bahrain (AP) – The English Golfer Laurie Canter won a second title on the European tour by beating Pablo Larrazabal and Daniel Brown in the playoffs to win the Bahrain Championship on Sunday.

Gallop n ° 89 sorted out at n ° 18 – The first hole in the playoffs – while Larrazabal and Brown did not even manage to peer.

Canter, which is back on the European tour after a spell on the Golf Breakaway Liv circuit, also won the European Open in June of last year.

It was particularly difficult for Larrazabal, a classified Spaniard n ° 311 which sought to win a 10th title on the European tour and needed two putt of 35 feet in the 72nd hole to win by a shot. He left his first putt 6 feet short and pushed his putt to the right, dropping him into the playoffs.

Canter fired 69 in the final round while Larrazabal and Brown were both 70s. The trio finished 14 under the week for the week, a blow in front of David Puig (64), Richie Ramsay (68), Ivan Cantero (69) and Martin Couvra (70).
