While enjoying the WNBA offseason after a Rookie of the Year campaign with the Indiana feverCaitlin Clark showcased her golf game in front of a large crowd Wednesday at an LPGA Tour pro-am in Belleair, Florida.
Clark shared all 18 holes of The Annika playing the front nine with world No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda and shot the back nine with one of the winningest golfers of all time, Annika Sorenstam.
During a brief interview with Golf Channel, Clark was asked if she learned any tips from playing golf with Korda.
“I watched and she’s amazing,” Clark said. “But golf is hard.”
One of Clark’s many sponsorship deals is for Indiana-based Gainbridge, the title sponsor of the penultimate LPGA tournament on the schedule. Clark also participated in a recent women’s leadership summit hosted by Gainbridge.
Korda said she has messaged with Clark on Instagram, but nothing beats time spent with her on the links.
“Seeing the influence she has on people, bringing them here, and seeing what an incredible influence she has just for the sport, that was really cool to see firsthand today,” Korda said .

Clark is no stranger to golf as she admitted to enjoying the sport in her spare time and even participated in the John Deere Classic pro-am last summer on the PGA Tour.
Korda spoke about Clark’s game, praising his ability to stay relaxed, which she attributed to his constant bombardment by the sports media over the past two years.
“It was great to see how relaxed she was,” Korda said. “Obviously with the media attention she’s received probably over the last two and a half years, you can see how comfortable she is playing in front of a bigger crowd. And she really enjoyed it. You can say it.
Although most of the day of golf was successful for Clark, there was one shot from the tee box that she sent into the nearby gallery. Clark was able to laugh off the mishit ball as he fired a second shot down the fairway.
As for Clark, it appears she’s enjoying her own life of leisure during the offseason before her second WNBA season begins with the Indiana Fever in May 2025.
