THE Indiana fever probably guaranteed that Caitlin Clark’s 24th birthday will be one she won’t forget.

At Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where she did some rehearsals on her birthday, Clark left the practice field and was greeted with a surprise serenade, not to mention a cookie cake baked in the shape of “22.”

“I have my germs everywhere,” Clark joked as he blew out his candles.
The move reinforces Clark’s importance to the Fever franchise, which has propped up the superstar guard following his injury-plagued 2025 season.
Clark played in just 13 games in her second WNBA season, fresh off being named the league’s Rookie of the Year and ranked fourth in MVP voting while ending the Fever’s eight-year playoff drought in 2024.

Although the Fever made a surprise run to the WNBA semifinals without Clark, Sophie Cunningham and others injured in 2025, Indiana is looking forward to having a healthy Clark back on the court for the upcoming season.
As she turns 24, Clark could compete for a WNBA championship and debut with USA Basketball in 2026, at which point she could earn selection to the national team for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in September.
