Caitlin Clark has filed for bankruptcy the WNBA’s single-season rookie record on a 3-pointer Sunday because, of course, she did. Did you expect anything else?

We all knew this was coming. After breaking the WNBA single-season assists record Just a few days ago, in a relatively routine (and rather quiet for her) game, it didn’t surprise me at all that Caitlin hit a silky 3-pointer for a new record.

In a thriller with the Wings, Caitlin brought the ball up the court in the third quarter, trying to escape Dallas’ defensive pressure. She managed to create just enough space for a shot and SWISSSH. BOOOM. BANGGGG. Seimone Augustus’ 18-year-old scoring record was broken.

Caitlin also finished the night with a win and a new career high – 35 points – which was right on target for her.
