Brent Crews has signed a deal to drive the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing in the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts (formerly Xfinity) NASCAR Series. The 17-year-old will compete in 29 of 33 events and will only miss four because he is not old enough to race on all types of tracks.
The Toyota development driver would be eligible for a playoff waiver, as missing races due to age restrictions is an acceptable excuse.

Crews ran ten NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races last year and impressed with their performance. He scored two top fives, three top tens and led more than 100 laps. Crews’ best performance came at the Charlotte Roval, where he finished second. Nine of his ten starts have come with TRICON, while making one other appearance with a new NCSTS team of which he is co-owner.
The rising star also has six ARCA victories in just 17 starts, as well as victories in both the ARCA East and ARCA West divisions.
The No. 19 Toyota GR Supra JGR used various drivers throughout the 2025 season and actually won the owners’ championship with Aric Almirola behind the wheel at Phoenix. Almirola won three races in the No. 19, which was also driven by Justin Bonsignore, Jack Perkins, Riley Herbst, Ty Gibbs, Chase Briscoe and Christopher Bell.
