Willmar – Willmar’s boys’ tennis team opened the season with a 6-1 home loss against Redwood Valley on Thursday.
Willmar’s only victory came in simple n ° 2.. The junior Carter Newberg carried out three sets with Kanyon Hicks from Redwood Valley, Newberg winning the first set and Hicks tied in the second. Newberg won the third set for the 6-2, 5-7, 10-5 victory.
