CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts – Boston College Athletics has announced its theme days for the upcoming 2024 BC football season and also made individual game tickets available to the public starting Thursday. The Eagles are honoring 9/11 hero Welles Crowther ’99 with their annual Red Bandanna Game in Week 4, Sept. 21, against Michigan State.
Season tickets and single-game tickets are now available at BCEagles.com or by calling the Boston College Sports Box Office at 617-552-GoBC. Season ticket packages start at $99 for the Eagles’ seven-game home schedule.
Boston College opens the Bill O’Brien The Eagles played their 11th Red Bandanna Game, honoring Crowther, who died saving up to 12 people in the South Tower of the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The game against Michigan State is the Red Bandanna’s first game against a non-ACC opponent since the inaugural event, a win over USC in 2014.
Week five is dedicated to Family Weekend on the Hill against Western Kentucky on September 28. The only home game of October will be Friday, October 25 during Homecoming Weekend. Full Homecoming Weekend events and schedule will be announced at a later date.
The Eagles will play three home games in November, starting with Military Appreciation and Healthcare Heroes Day against Syracuse on Nov. 9. Boston College will then celebrate the 40th anniversary of Doug Flutie’s Hail Mary on Nov. 23 with a reunion of the 1984 team at Ultimate Kids Day. The Eagles will also host the 1974, 1994, 2004 and 2009 teams for the game against North Carolina.
The regular season concludes with Senior Day and Youth Sports Day at Alumni Stadium against Pittsburgh on November 30.
