The two biggest themed games are the Red Bandanna Game and Homecoming.
The annual Red Bandanna Game will take place on November 8 when Boston College hosts SMU. The game honors the life and legacy of Boston College alumnus Welles Crowther (1999) who lost his life during the September 11 attacks. He is credited with saving up to a dozen people in the South Tower.
The Eagles’ homecoming game is Oct. 18 against UConn.
As for the spring program, training will begin on March 11 and continue until April 12. They are closed to the public.
The program also announced there would be no spring game this year.
