“Oh my god… It’s a surreal feeling. We did it. We did it! Oh my god, we did it,” Tatum later told ESPN’s Lisa Salters.

“First of all, God is greatest. Not because we won, but to put myself in positions to maximize the abilities that God has given me,” he went on to tell Salters .

“To surround myself with these guys. My family. It’s an incredible feeling. I’m at a loss for words. I’m sorry.”

Tatum then called his teammates a “resilient group,” adding, “We’ve been through a lot as a team.

“Over the last two years…seven years. What will they say now?”

Former president congratulates Celtics

Former President Barack Obama used his X account, formerly known as Twitter, to congratulate the Celtics after their Finals victory.

Congratulations to the new champions, the Boston @Celtics! 18 titles is no small feat – it’s well deserved.
