BNC started using Shelton’s song “Bringing Back the Sunshine” as the opening theme for NASCAR coverage in 2015; in 2016, Shelton reworked the lyrics of the song to reflect the racing environment. For 2017, the revamped song returns, and the opening video features appearances from more than 20 current NASCAR Cup Series drivers, as well as footage of U.S. military personnel from two Alabama bases interacting with Dale Earnhardt Jr.
