One of the Bills’ best defensive players left today’s game against the Dolphins in the first quarter.
Bills middle linebacker Terrel Bernard went to the locker room and was listed as doubtful to return with a pectoral injury.
Bernard is one of the Bills’ two captains, along with the quarterback Josh AllenBills coach Sean McDermott praised Bernard during training camp, describing him as one of the team’s most important players. He would be a big loss if he missed significant time.
The Bills also announced that defensive end Casey Toohill his return with a knee injury is uncertain.
